This is an example of one of the gymnasiums we have done including several public schools. A standard four-point central speaker arrangement was employed using Yamaha 15" 2-way speakers with metal grill covers for protection.

A main rack in the sound room houses a Yamaha MV800 mixer with 8 mic/line channels and a stereo line channel with 2-band EQ, 2-zone assignment, and master limiting. The other rack equipment includes a Phonic Ear hearing-assistance system, a 10-outlet power strip with light, Yamaha 31-band EQ, and amplifiers for mains and 70V hallway speakers. A second portable rack has a dedicated preset connection to allow on-floor mixing for mics and a Teac AD500 CD/Tape player. (No, we don't normally provide oversized rackrails for mixers. The ones in the picture were temporary while the correct ones were backordered.)
