Kempsville Presbyterian is a 1000-seat church with three WorxAudio WX12 waveguide speakers in a cluster covering a 200-degree arc up to 80 feet deep including balcony. They replaced earlier Bose which exhibited poor response, dispersion, and efficiency. Two more WorxAudio WX15s were added in the organ chambers as a Left-Right configuration to provide a distinct system and imaging for musical instruments. They are also integrated with dual-18" subwoofers which are on the floor and facing side walls in order to distribute rich low end more evenly throughout the sanctuary. Notice the choir monitor placement, a unique design we've employed on numerous occasions when side chambers are not available. Compact speakers like WorxAudio WX8, BagEnd TA6000, or Wharfedale SI10 are mounted on 1" poles on each side of the choir area for optimum coverage. The poles can also be rotated to provide fills to the main stage for special concert or worship dance programs. Mixing is provided by a Yamaha 02R 40-channel digital console and system processing is handled by a Yamaha DME32 8x8 configuration.
